  1. This sounds like fun! I'll track it down even though I've read almost all of it.

  2. Wonderful. Most of my students missed the metaphor this year. I am ordering books and will contact you about a Skype interview.

    Thanks for all you do!

  3. Oh my goodness. Thanks for the Special Thanks. I have started reading the Kindle version which I got minutes after your Direct Twitter message. All of this has happened in the last 10 minutes. In the time it takes for a hummingbird to flap its wings. Well, maybe not that fast! I will watch for my current visiting hummingbird and see.

Thank you so much. There is much more work to do.Only 6 of 129 students this semester explicitly identified the metaphor. I'll call for help.

I am through the Introduction and into Chapter 1. If I hadn't promised myself that this DO TAXES DAY I would read it from the first pixel to the last pixel today. Well, I guess I could say from the cover to the last pixel. Or maybe cover to cover has become a metaphor since covers no longer exist. I am getting dizzy watching the hummingbird wings. Or avoiding taxes. Or whatever.

I have sent electronic copies to my student staff and to a colleague.

    Many, many thanks!

    John
